Scenic Art

Project Name: Environmental Artwork

Overview: Use fine art and 3-d modeling techniques to create a few environmental scenes in order to create conceptual artwork for different works.
Tasks: make use of 3D Studio Max, Autodesk Maya, Photoshop, and line artwork to render a few shots of different scenes.

CG Model work featured on TV!

Project Name: LIFELIKE

Overview: Create a photo-realistic 3-d model texture, to successfully digitize a virtual representation of a long-standing program manager at the National Science Foundation, Dr. Alexander Schwarzkopf. Work was featured prominently in the episode “Immortality” which aired on prime time this past October in the Science Channel.
Tasks: create a model texture in ZBrush 3.5, export into Autodesk Maya, meet the needs of project coordinator and programmers in trying to improve the likeness of the subject character, and deliver clear and informative suggestions as to what computer programs would best suit this task.

Overview:

Tasks: 3-d model, texture and pose in ZBrush 3.5, Stage and re-touch in Photohop CS3

Night Scene Revisited

Project Name: Midnight Melody

Overview:
Touch up previous environmental 3-d modeling created with low res texturing.
Tasks: Use Photoshop and 3-d Rendering engine to retouch previously created work.







Digital Photo-painting

Project Name: The Velvet Queen

Overview: Create an image through the use of digital painting along with 3-d compositing as well as the use of digital photography.
Tasks: Shoot, Scan, model and digitally paint an image to create a final composition that brings all elements together.

Digital Painting

Project Name: Vamp Ire

Overview: Create a digital painting with the use of a pen tablet after watching a tutorial by digital artist Carlos Cabrera.
Tasks: Sketch, color, ink and paint a digital image with the aid of Photoshop and a Wacom pen tablet.
